Astronomy Tower of Terror! Hahaha!! These guys (and Laura) never fail to crack me up! I’ve already mentioned how much I love the MuggleCast podcast in one of my posts last year. It’s funny reading that again because I still had no idea then that the Half-Blood Prince movie was about to be delayed for 2009. Anyways, I wasn’t able to faithfully follow the show again these past several months. What do I always say? Life gets in the way…
For the uninformed, a podcast is basically just like a radio show. But you can subscribe to it to get updates each time they have a new episode. You don’t really need to have an iPod since the episode is just an audio file, usually MP3.
MuggleCast just released their 177th episode! As always, they talk about the latest Harry Potter news: G-Force beating Half-Blood Prince at the box-office, the new Ultimate Collector’s Edition DVD of the first 2 Potter films, etc.
They also resume their HPB movie discussions here. I’m so glad to hear that they share the same sentiments that I have with the latest movie. They bring up some really good reasons for some of the more controversial deviations of the film such as the Burrow scene and the missing Defense Against the Dark Arts class with Snape. And also why it’s okay that Harry wasn’t petrified in the tower. Really good points.
They also reminded me that J. K. Rowling said years ago that Half-Blood Prince and Deathly Hallows are 2 halves of the same novel! I do remember feeling that way after I finished reading Prince. So there you go whiners, it’s just really the part one. Now quit complaining!
It’s really funny that Andrew didn’t understand the actors during the start of the film. That was exactly what happened to me too! It took me a while to adjust to their British accent again. I guess I’m dumb like that. 
I still can’t believe it’s been 4 years already since I started listening to MuggleCast. And I’m actually celebrating this year my 10th year anniversary of reading Harry Potter! I need to do something special I guess… like maybe posting pictures of my Harry Potter collection! But that will definitely be for my book blog. I think half of my last ten posts here were all about Harry so that’s enough for now. Lest you think this is a Harry Potter fan blog.
