The Last Airbender – Aang and Zuko Character Posters!

They feature Aang and Zuko representing their respective tribes or nations.

Aang (left) is played by Noah Ringer and Zuko (right) is Dev Patel.

Behind Aang is obviously the Air Nomads Temple. While Zuko’s backdrop is a fleet of the Fire Navy ships.

Aang’s poster is the better one. I love the pale grayish colors on his. Good thing too the outfit is not much different from the cartoon. The air around his staff which looks like a cigarette smoke is also a nice touch.

Zuko’s poster, on the other hand, is not so easy on the eyes. It’s too warm and bright! I would have preferred a reddish tint instead. And look at his awful hair! Me wants my Zuko with the ponytail! *pouts*

I posted about the teaser trailer and the first promo pictures already. And coming up next is the first theatrical trailer for the movie.

According to one of the film’s producers, the new trailer is “about 2 minutes long”. He also tells us that the “trailer will feature all the main characters” – this I’m really excited to see. At the very least, I expect to see Aang, Zuko, Katara, Sokka, Iroh, Momo and Appa!

The Last Airbender’s movie trailer will premiere during the Super Bowl this year which is on February 7. Then it will be officially released with screenings of the Percy Jackson movie on February 12. As if I needed another reason to see The Lightning Thief!

Just a few days from now, we’ll finally get to see Appa in live action! Woohoo!
