Yes, I’m blogging again so hello world! I’m opening myself up again here. I’ve been away for… heaven knows how long. I think the first thing people would like to know is why I’ve decided to do this again. Two things: I’m a changed person now (I think) and because of the new me, I figured this is one of the things I’d have to do again. If that doesn’t make sense to you right now, don’t worry. You’ll get it once I’ve made more posts here.

So… let me address a few things on this first post.

CapturedWings.net - I feel bad leaving the site but I’ve decided now to hand it over to SLi. He can still have me as an admin if he wants but not the typical admin who will monitor the site regularly. I will act more like an advisor if ever I will return there. I will still be the one in charge of managing the domain name though. But the forums and gallery will be in the hands of SLi too.

Cardcaptors Syaoran and Sakura - So what about CCS+S? It still is my first website but I’m leaving it the way it is right now. You may call it a dead website if you like. It’s a pity because I still have some work for that site which I have not yet put up online. Those will be released in future posts here at my journal.

Syaoran.net - What happened here? Before I “disappeared”, my webhost deleted my hostees’ files because there was a script using up too much server resources. I’m so sorry to all my hostees who got affected by this. My blog wasn’t affected but I deleted it anyway without backing things up. I didn’t want any trace of the old Syaoran.net left here because I needed to forget the past.

So why am I doing this? Well it’s not because I’m not a fan anymore of CCS or Tsubasa. I’m still running syaoran.net if you hadn’t noticed. The main reason is that my priorities have already changed since I’ve left CapturedWings about 2 years ago. A lot of things happened since then but I wouldn’t go into the details right now.

Syaoran’s Journal - This will be a personal blog only. My thoughts and everyday experiences.. those things. You can read more on this at the About page.

To sum things up:

• I am no longer a webmaster of CapturedWings.net
• Syaoran.net will just be a personal site (no more hostees, sorry)
• I am still a fan of CCS and Tsubasa (I’ve seen the OVA and loved it)
• I’m a fan but I have no plans of making a fansite again

I hope people will understand the reason for my decisions. It wasn’t easy for me but it had to be done. Having a fansite for my favorite anime and meeting people who shared the same interests as I have was one of the best experiences I will never forget. But just like what they say, all good things must come to an end. And sadly, I’m closing that chapter of my life but starting a new one through this journal.
