We just had a very bad experience in the Greenhills branch of “Little Asia” last night. The food was good alright so I won’t complain about that. I’ve had my share of bad service experiences but theirs is the WORST I’ve had so far.
We waited about half an hour for the food. That would have been okay if we didn’t see other customers getting served before us and we came there BEFORE them. Their excuse was that our chicken was delayed because it takes a longer time to cook. Well I say BS to that. It wasn’t even a whole-size chicken and the other customers ordered more elaborate dishes. Bottom line is, we were discriminated. I still can’t believe that some restaurants do this.

Personal
I want to …
… learn Ruby on Rails …
… start reading a fiction book again every night …
… review Linux / Unix commands …
… install Ubuntu on my desktop …
… meet up with a TPC seller to have my earphones fixed …
… get a new bank account and deposit a check …
… start ironing my own clothes …
… eat out less often to save money for Christmas …
… plurk less … (haha!)
… do more good …
… this month.
It’s been a long time since I’ve touched this thing. I didn’t expect it would be this difficult to be back in IT. But anyway, I’ve decided to start a new series of posts here. Well, I know I still have the monthly music report to do and the Davao thing isn’t even done yet. But this is far more important than those two. Trust me.
“I want to ____ this month.” will be a monthly post here on my journal (obviously). Basically, it’s a list of the things I want to accomplish before the current month ends. Of course, I cannot possibly list all the things I want to do. Only those with huge importance will be included. It will also serve as a reminder to me not to waste my time on trivial stuff.
I got this idea from a comment in Lifehacker, one of my favorite blogs. I figured that making a list like this could really help me better manage my time. At first, I was thinking of keeping it in private posts but then where’s the fun in that?
At the end of the month, I will evaluate myself on how I worked towards achieving these goals. Cool, huh?
Well, it’s the 6th day of the month already so I’d better start working.
