The Bookish Pinoy?

The Bookish Pinoy is a website painstakingly maintained by Patrick. He decided to create this space to chronicle his perennial love for the written word.

It features book news and the occasional editorials. Web savvy readers will also benefit from the “miscellanews” articles.

Because of the blog author’s personal preference, most of the books reviewed here belong in the fiction and inspirational genre. He is, however, very much open to book recommendations. He’s just hoping there’s more time for reading because he has personally proven for himself that famous adage: “So many books, so little time.”

Just in case you didn’t know: Pinoy is a colloquial equivalent of the word Filipino — a native of the Philippines.

The Author

My name is Patrick but I also go under the name Little Wolf in the internet.

I’ve loved reading since I was a small kid but the series that urged me to read more was Harry Potter, so it’s no surprise that Young Adult is my favorite of all fiction sub-genres. Being a devout Catholic, I also like reading spiritual and inspirational books. Most of my book reviews are from these genres but I do wade out of my comfort zone once in a while. My other interests are psychology, astronomy, extreme weather and computer/Web stuff.

I live in Quezon City and my favorite hangout spots are FullyBooked, Powerbooks, National Bookstore and Booksale. I’m happy to say I don’t just go there for office supplies and magazines. =)
