I used the word Pinoy instead of Filipino just to puzzle foreign readers. Guess it didn’t work on you. Cryptonomicon looks like a great read. Thanks for the heads-up!

I actually knew what a Pinoy is! This is because I read Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson. One of my favorite books. It takes place partly in the Philippines. In addition to bouncing around by location the novel bounces in time as well. A delightful tale which comes together linking all the pieces at the end. I would love to see what others think about it.
Hi! Been browsing through your blog and I’m really enjoying it. Found a link thru sumthinblue.com It was great finding someone writing about Wrinkle. I love that book. Have you read Swiftly Tilting Planet? That one is special too. Also, I liked the review on Percy and the Lightning Thief. Last Christmas, I had to keep myself from getting it because I was supposed to be shopping for presents. Now, I’m convinced. Must. Have. It.
I’ve been following this blog for more than three weeks now, reading the old posts. I’m fascinated by this blog because bookworms in the Philippines are so rare. When are you going to post your next review, and what are you reading now? Where do you shop for books? Any place you can point a fellow bookworm to?
Thanks for dropping by my blog-I appreciate it-
